I'm still so... I don't know... somewhere between gutted and bitter that Good Omens never got a sequel and of course now it is way too late for that and now series 2 of the show is just kind of rubbing salt into that particular wound even more and it does annoy me so much that the show took over and I'm supposed to somehow give a fuck about it just because I loved the book (when I don't give a fuck about the show. I hate the show. I hate the casting/portrayal of my favourite characters in it, I hated the ~quirkiness~ of it and the ridiculous amount of narration and music, it was so irritating to me I couldn't even get past the second episode of the first series) also apparently because it's ~so queer~ (when all that seems to have come out of any supposed queerness in the first series was a lot of people being complete assholes about non binary genders and asexuals, also I mean if we are talking Aziraphale/Crowley I still don't give a shit about the show versions of them, I hate the show versions) and of course because Gaiman is the only one left alive he basically gets full control over everything and can do and say anything he likes with it even when that seems to contradict what was said in the past about the story being done with and Terry Pratchett just seems to be getting erased more and more from this when it was his story too.
I don't want series 2 of Good Omens, I didn't even want series 1 of it, I want an actual proper sequel. Also Terry Pratchett to not be dead.
