(no subject)

I'm sort of feeling like I need to watch The Great Mouse Detective for reasons (Moriarty essay reasons) but I do not like the animation style of it, I'm not a fan of most of the Disney style animation anyway in anything, but this is even worse because in the books they were just cute little mice in clothes but in the film it's like they tried to make Basil ~sexy~ or something. Also I'm sure as a kid I hated Ratigan in it.  
Anyway I'm getting a really vague feeling I did manage to download it from somewhere about... 11 years ago (I think just before I saw AGoS which is why I think I do remember it) but I never watched it then and what I actually did with that download (if I did indeed download it and didn't just imagine that) I have no idea. So as it stands I don't actually have the film anyway. 

ETA this music is oddly beautiful but it's also really fucking with me, there's something very bleak about this and this is so fucking weird, you know like music giving you goosebumps, it's not just goosebumps it's way beyond that... I can feel it through me? The music is going down my legs and arms? I can't even describe it it's just really fucking weird
