I just found out what Enola Holmes 2 did with Moriarty. Seriously? Fuck that, it's almost as shit as what they did with Moriarty in Elementary (which only gets the distinction of being even worse I think both for simultaneously ruining Irene Adler's characterisation and for going out of its way to shit all over Moriarty and Moran being close anyway and them as a queer pairing). You know right if you want to create a new Sherlock Holmes villain character you can just... do that, not try and tack on the Moriarty thing to some character that has absolutely nothing to do with Moriarty, and it's even more absurd they'd tack the Moriarty thing on in a thing that's entirely based around an original character anyway.
(I am sick of these characters I love being treated as just fucking... 'archetypes', where people think you can just slap their names (or not even their names usually, half the time they're given some other name and yet STILL meant to be the same characters, when literally everything about them is changed) on any random original character and it's Exactly the Same as the characters I love with all my heart. Spoiler: no it damned well isn't the same, it's nothing like it. I don't want fucking 'archetypes' I want James Moriarty and Sebastian Moran.)
